Nomination Admission Requirements
All nominations must be for pet industry businesses in Scotland.
- The business may qualify for nomination in up to 4 categories if applicable.
- It is free to register a business for an award.
- All registrations must related to a registered business.
- You receive a web banner, and web link, window vinyl and you are set up on the voting system.
- We promote the awards and you promote your business to your customers.

What you should know
Once your business is registered for a category we promote your listing and share on social media the news you have been nominated. From registration, your customers can begin to vote for you! Please note voting is only a portion of the judging criteria.
Awards for each category will be open to businesses registered plus relying on nominations to put forward so please make sure and spread the word!
Our award winners are chosen by our expert judging panel. There choice will be made on a number of different factors, including but not limited to your business votes.
- Who chooses the winners?
- The winners are chosen by our panel of expert judges. There is a number of factors involved in choosing the winner which will include but is not limited to your business votes.
- How are the votes counted?
- The votes will be counted electronically to ensure there are no errors.
- Can I put my business forward for numerous awards?
- Absolutely. We understand there are a number of business who will fit into several categories. There will be a reduced admin fee should you apply for more than one award.
- Is there a cost for the award?
- Unlike traditional award ceremonies we have ensured all costs are at a minimum. You will be invited to attend our award ceremony which is £100 per person or discounts applicable for tables of 10. There are no additional fees involved.
- Will there be an official awards ceremony?
- Our 2022 awards will be held virtually however we are delighted to announce we will be inviting you all along to our 2023 award ceremony in the Crown Plaza, Glasgow..
- What do I do if my business doesn't fit any category?
- Not to worry, simply email hello@scottishpetawards.co.uk and if we can't fit you into a category, we may be able to create one based on demand.
- When does voting close?
- Voting will close on 31st October 2022
