Ayrshire Dog Deli
Ayrshire Dog Deli was a business born during the 2020 lockdown when Evie, a 10-year-old Ayrshire school girl, turned her baking skills to creating dog biscuits for our new puppy Dexter. Wondering if other dogs would love her treats just as much as Dexter did, she decided to begin selling them locally from the top of our drive. The demand was more than she could have ever imagined, with local shops approaching her to stock her products.
On returning to school Evie felt that she needed to focus her efforts on her education, but continued to be inundated with requests to keep on baking. Ever the entrepreneur, Evie decided that Ayrshire Dog Deli could become a family business, with everyone taking a role – and that’s just what we have done!
As a family we have worked together to develop new recipes and taste test them (Dexter’s favourite part!), develop new packaging and create a lovely new website.
Our treats are lovingly produced by hand, using only the best natural, human grade ingredients and contain no additives or preservatives
