I set up Glenlee Grrr-ooms off the back of my small Boarding start up called Barks2Parks. I had two clients one on Christmas Day and other to watch two Dogs together when their owner has to go to work (outwith the home as a Key-worker). I realised these Dogs needed groomed and there was a rise in demand with pet owners increasing during Lockdown. So I decided too use my large hall space which conveniently backs onto my bathroom. So I had built in facilities to bath the dogs. So I used my savings to buy all the grooming equipment to set up my station. To do practice grooms whilst I complete my online Dog Grooming Course at Shaw Academy. A friend sent me the link. And some friends have kindly let me practice on their Dogs. I’ve had a few paid clients since. I have made complimentary welcome kits with shampoo and cologne samples and a loyalty card scheme.
